Tesla Wall Connector Installation
Get the fastest home charging your Tesla supports. We install the Tesla Wall Connector on a correctly sized dedicated circuit, configure the amperage in the Tesla app, and verify charging before we leave.
- Dedicated 240V circuit sized up to 60A (48A charging) where capacity allows
- Indoor garage or outdoor wall and pedestal mounting
- Configuration and firmware update through the Tesla app
- Power Sharing setup for multiple Wall Connectors
- Load calculation to confirm your panel can support it
Wall Connector vs. Mobile Connector on a 14-50 outlet
The Mobile Connector on a NEMA 14-50 outlet is limited to 32A. A hardwired Wall Connector can deliver up to 48A on a 60A circuit and avoids the wear and heat issues that can develop at outlets used daily for charging.
Questions
FAQ
Does the Wall Connector work with non-Tesla EVs?
The NACS-plug Wall Connector charges vehicles with a NACS port or a compatible adapter. The J1772 version is available for other EVs.
Can I install two Wall Connectors?
Yes. Power Sharing lets multiple Wall Connectors split one circuit so two cars can charge without a larger service.
