Questions

FAQ

Hardwired charger or a NEMA 14-50 outlet?

Hardwired chargers can deliver more power and avoid outlet wear, and many manufacturers recommend them. Outlets offer flexibility if you plan to change chargers. We will help you choose based on your vehicle and panel.

How fast will a Level 2 charger charge my car?

Typical home Level 2 installs add roughly 20–45 miles of range per hour depending on the circuit size and the vehicle's onboard charger.

Can I install a charger without upgrading my panel?

Often, yes. A load calculation or an EV load-management device can let you add a charger without a full service upgrade.
