Level 2 EV Charger Installation

Charge overnight with a Level 2 charger installed on a dedicated 240V circuit. We install hardwired chargers and NEMA 14-50 / 6-50 outlets for every major EV brand.

  • Breaker and wire sized at 125% of the charger's continuous load
  • Shortest clean route from panel to parking spot
  • Surface conduit, attic, or underground runs as needed
  • Permits where required by the local jurisdiction
  • Exterior wall prepared with a dedicated EV charging circuit near the driveway

Hardwired or plug-in

Hardwired chargers can run at higher amperage and eliminate outlet wear. Plug-in chargers on a NEMA 14-50 offer flexibility to swap units. Outdoor outlets need weather-resistant devices and in-use covers, and current code requires GFCI protection for EV outlets.

Questions

FAQ

What size circuit does my charger need?

Most home chargers run on 40A or 50A circuits; higher-output units need 60A. The right size depends on the charger, your vehicle, and available panel capacity.

Can you install a charger for my condo or apartment?

Often yes, with HOA approval and access to a panel or house meter serving your parking space. Send us photos to start.
